Almost Ten

My baby is going to be ten months old soon. I am very happy with how things have turned out. Baby C is always beaming with smiles and full of laughter. She is now crawling happily and likes to stand up for a long time with just one hand holding her weight.

Baby World

The baby had to be born early at 38 weeks and was born on March 16th. She is such a beautiful baby. We have been cloth diapering her with success. Never imagine that cloth diapering is really easy. Even my DH can do it successfully. My toddler son has been wonderful with his little sister too. Live could not be happier than as it is right now.

Week 37

It is almost the end of week 37...and I can feel my baby is engaging so to say. And my toddler son is more clinging than ever too, as if he can feel that his baby sister is coming out pretty soon.

Week 35

Went to the doctor yesterday and was told that my baby's neck is wrapped by the umbilical cord. Other than that the baby's position is head down already. According to an old Indonesian folk tale, if a baby girl is born wrapped in its umbilical cord she is going to be very pretty.

Decision

Here comes the days when I need to make a decision on where I want to deliver the baby at. I have been going to see my doctor at this one hospital, however, last week when I asked about the room charges for giving birth, this particular women and children hospital has the most irrational policy I have ever heard. The policy stated that when you come in to deliver the baby and the room that you requested is not available you will be given a lower class room while waiting. However, the lower class room will be charged the same as the room that you originally requested. What is that all about? It does not make any sense at all. If you requested a VIP room and its not available on the same day, the hospital will put you in a Class I room while you wait for the VIP room to be available...this may take a day or two. And you must pay for a VIP room charge for those one or two days just because when you check out of the hospital you would be checking out of the VIP room. Its insanity. So off I go to .... where the hospital room charge policy is flexible (yes, that was the exact word of the admission officer that I talked to).

4D Ultrasaound

It is week 30th and I am intrigued to have a 4D ultrasound. The nurse at my doctor office said that the best week to have a 4D ultrasound is before week 32. Is it a splurge or a necessity? That is the question my husband asks. Well here is my take on it: I am looking at the 4D experience just like taking a vacation picture. Either you take it now or never...

Third Trimester

Happy new year 2011. It is week 29 and I am thinking of rearranging furniture to fit my baby crib. We are sharing our bedroom with the baby. I cannot believe time flew so fast and now I am officially in my third trimester.
